Shades of Brass Performance - "Shades of Brass," a brass quintet made up of University of Delaware undergrad and graduate students performed over two days in Waterford and New London for over 1500 students. This ensemble dazzled and inspired as they performed music that ranged from classical to jazz to pop.

Not only did they perform music, but they also enlightened students with stories.

Shades of Brass performed for students at Waterford High, Clark Lane Middle, Southwest Elementary, Quaker Hill Elementary, The Friendship School and ISAAC (Inter-district School for Arts and Communication).

Hygienic Art - Hygienic Art, Inc. will host an exhibition of paintings and sculpture by students of Waterford and New London High Schools.  Items to be exhibited will be competitively selected and exhibited in a gallery setting for a two week period.   Students will be exposed to the many consideration that go into the planning and execution of an art exhibition.  Students will have the opportunity  to offer their creations for sale.A requirement is that the items being exhibited be offered for sale to give students experience in the real world business nature of marketing on a professional basis.  This grants covers the costs associated with Waterford student participation.
